This proposal submission form is for University of Texas at San Antonio undergraduate students ONLY.

The deadline for UTSA undergraduate proposal submissions is Tuesday March 20, 2018 at 11:59 pm CST. Proposals submitted after this deadline will not be considered. All undergraduates will give POSTER presentations.

Please note that undergraduate proposals will be reviewed independently of regular proposal submissions, so you will not be competing against seasoned educators and researchers. The proposal review rubric has also been simplified. You can find the rubric here.

We encourage you to visit our Proposal Guidelines and Tips to learn more about what a proposal should look like and what information should (and should not) be included in a proposal.

In a final note, the TexLER Committee is excited to work with you throughout this process, so if you need any assistance, please reach out to us through the Contact page or by emailing us directly at [email protected]
All undergraduate proposals that are accepted will automatically be considered for one of the three UTSA Family Fund awards. There is no separate application for this.

    Presenter Information

Please submit your proposal here. Incomplete form submissions will not be reviewed. Please carefully check that you have followed any instructions included and that all appropriate fields have been fully completed.

Be sure that the email address you provide will be active until after the conference.

    Proposal

You should prepare a 250-word abstract of your presentation, or workshop. Only the referees will see your submitted proposal abstract; it will not appear in the program. All abstracts are blind reviewed, so you should NOT include the presenter name(s) or institution(s) in your abstract. Abstracts exceeding the maximum word limit will not be reviewed.
Your summary will appear in the TexLER Conference Program. Summaries over the maximum word allowance will not be reviewed.
