For the first time, the TexLER Committee has partnered with the UTSA Family Fund in support of undergraduate conference attendance and participation. Awards will be given to the top 3 undergraduate poster presentations. For more information about this partnership, click here.
For the Conference 2017, the TexLER Committee is dedicated to providing UTSA undergraduate students from disciplines related to education and language studies the opportunity to be involved in the Conference via presentations, attendance, and/or volunteering. We also aim to enhance undergraduate students' experiences in attending a professional conference and networking with local, national, and international students, practitioners, and researchers. Our goal is to promote the development of leadership skills and engagement in our event and the wider academic community.

The TexLER Committee welcomes research poster presentation proposal submissions by any UTSA undergraduate student who will be enrolled at least part-time during the Spring 2016 semester. |
The TexLER Committee is currently developing a two-part workshop series for undergraduates. The first workshop, offered at the end of October (exact date TBD), will walk students through the process of condensing a research paper into a conference proposal. The second workshop, offered in January (exact date TBD), will provide undergraduates whose proposals are accepted hands-on support in converting a research paper into a poster presentation. Details and registration for the workshop series will be announced soon.
